[LondonOpenCoffee] F2F PA

Jawad Alkatib
I'm looking to recruit a part-time PA for general admin: email chasing, etc.

All the sites I'm aware of are for virtual workers, but I don't find
this style effective for such a high-interaction role.

Anyone have any experience of recruiting for similar roles, in recent
years? I'm thinking of something not unlike taskrabbit, but for white
collar workers.  I'd rather avoid conventional recruiters.

Thanks

A

Re: [LondonOpenCoffee] F2F PA

Jawad Alkatib
Can you please elaborate on the tasks this person would need to perform ?

I am not sure what email chasing is either.

I have hired assistants to run mainly simple tasks on our social media and I am happy with it. We could not hire anybody to reply to the emails because of the nature of our business.

I hope it helps

Duccio

Hi Andrew,

If you could elaborate on the tasks, that would be useful.

I run a virtual assistant service with fellow VA's and many business owners find VA's useful because of not having to worry about the associated costs of permanent employees; work space regulations, pensions, taxes etc.

However, if you want a member of staff to be sat in the same office with you to work, then, yes, a VA might not be the best option for you.

Many thanks,
Kirsty

Could work on a VA basis, if I can meet the person regularly.

I'm keen to spare everyone's inbox - so any personal approaches to

I've had good results using recruitmentology as a "conventional recruiter" if you do go down that route

I have used a remote PA for a while now - from a personal recommendation - and it has worked fine.

They send and chase invoices, and manage my diary, make reservations or find meeting rooms for me when I need them - for 8 hours per month (normally) and available for more hours when required.

The fact she's in Glasgow has never been an issue as we speak as often as we need to. Can provide intro if anyone wants it.
